Just went to a wedding dinner at this place

called Passion Road

At first, my expectation was high for this place

as I saw nice photos from other people

and lovely comments about their food

After yesterday night,

I was full of disappointment

The venue looks romantic right?

but you won't believe it

this place is full of mosquitoes

when I was sitting there I didn't realize above my head was full of mosquitoes flying

and ventilation was very poor even if we are in the air-conditioned room

Those guests sitting outside

I really pity them

They had to use brochures to fan themselves

Another big disappointment is

the buffet

They expect us to 'rebut' with everyone for food

when everyone can't bear with their hunger

seriously the food was like mamak food

which I feel it doesn't worth if the bride & groom is paying high price for it

Dessert ~ Cheesecake in plastic cup

bad presentation

bad taste

cheese taste too strong

makes your throat feel sticky

another thing is no one dare to take it from the other buffet line

due to massive flies flying around it

All guests are given lime juice

That's it! it's even worst than having a wedding dinner in Chinese restaurants

Please no next time

✿ Nadeje Melaka

This post is about my very first visit to Malacca's famous mille crepe cakes

it was 3 years ago

It was the most memorable one

I still remember the moment I went into the cafe

I was amazed of the beautiful cakes in the cake display

all cakes are ranged from RM9 - RM9.90 per slice

After 3 years finally they open an outlet in Three Two Square, PJ

Here's a new creation from Nadeje

Strawberry Nama Donut (RM7.50)

I guess the reason why it's called Nama Donut 

is because the ingredients are made of Nama Chocolate from Royce

Seriously If you wanna try, you should order strawberry flavour

I personally love this a lot!

✿ Hinz Cafe Manjalara

Passed by and saw this cute & nice cafe in Menjalara

it is just located next to Hometown Steamboat

Their cafe's environment was lovely

but too bad not many photos to show

Ice Lemon Tea (Rm 4.90)

sorry ~ was too hungry

I totally forgot to take photo for the Roast Chicken Carbonara

Maybe you can check it out in their facebook page

I'd say their carbonara is the best

not too creamy

not too much of sauce

it taste just right

I usually hated those carbonara which is too creamy

the roast chicken matches the spaghetti well :)

Strawberry Cheese Cake (Rm 12.90)

As I saw this lovely cake in the cake display chiller

I immediately take-away one hehe

you know~ I'm a fan of strawberries

When I see the desserts with strawberries, I can't hesitate to buy one

I agree it's kinda pricey for such a small cake but just love it~

✿ Hatyai Family Trip 2013

In a blink of an eye

we are back from our trip TT

time flies

I really enjoyed my recent family trip to Hatyai

it has been so many years since we travel together

well I don't have much photos 

Will share it out after I get the other photos :)

Our first stop

Thanon Thung Sao Dim Sum

their dim sum is you order , they steam it

Char Siew Pau

Siew Mai

Har Gau which is Shrimp Dumpling

This is recommended by the restaurant owner

Their signature fish head with kuey teow noodles fried in the shape of pancake

it was really special

never tried something like this before

the way they deep fry the kuey teow is unique

Second stop

Of course My mom and I can't miss Swensen's Ice cream

Banana Boat

You can actually change the flavours as you wish

Wild@Heart is my favourite :P

Love their chocolate coated strawberries !

Third Stop

Bon Khao Restaurant

which is located on a hill in Municipal Park

The entrance looks like a beautiful garden

If you come here during night time

you will get to see the magnificent view of Hatyai

but seriously coming on night time is kinda dangerous because of the road

Coconut to chill ourselves

During day time, they closed outside

so we have to sit inside

Fried egg with onions

Hmmm ~~ Delicious

Tom Yam Gung

one must not miss this in Thailand

not too spicy and a little bit of sourness

just what I like :)

Their signature Deep Fried Pork Knuckle

A bit oily for me but taste good

I recommend their Thai fish cake

Their fish cake is fragrant adding a little bit of spicyness just makes it so perfect

Don't forget their Pineapple fried rice !

Fourth stop

Steel Temple

a very magnificent yet amazing temple

This is the temple

Everything is made of steel

Look at their steel stairs @.@

it was kinda dangerous when you go up

the stairs are not spacious enough

BBQ Plaza in Central Plaza

I've been craving for this since it is originally from Thailand

 We ordered Proteen set which cost 555 baht

it includes 13 dishes and you may choose either beef or pork

of course I chose pork !

✿ Paddington Garden Sunway Giza Mall

few days ago

went to have pancakes for tea time as well as my friend's birthday

as we saw the nice environment in Paddington Garden

we decided to have give it a try

we ordered this

Cream Cheese Strawberry Pancakes (RM16.90)

Overall of what we ordered I prefer this

The cream cheese actually goes well with the strawberry sauce and pancakes

which is out of my expectation

Cheese Pot Pancakes (Rm18.90)

Sooo cheessyyy~~~

Tiramisu Pancakes (Rm16.90)

The presentation of this pancakes is nice

but taste normal to me

I think it should be named as Chocolate Pancakes haha
